Contact me + Review policy.

Hello!

Here you can find all the books I've read, the books I want to read and all my reviews: Goodreads

If you want to contact me by email, you can send one to:
thedailyprophecy(at)hotmail(dot)com. Please read the text below before you contact me. I'm very busy and I can't reply to every email I receive. If I'm interested in the book, I will reply soon.

NOTE: I'll be working together with a publisher and therefore, I will be very busy. It's most likely that I won't accept your review request. Please keep that in mind before you mail me a request.

I accept ARCs and finished copies. If the book is a part of a series, then I may need the previous books. Paperbacks are preferred, but if needed, I can accept e-books (preferred: epub and pdf.) I also get my copies from Netgalley.

I don't accept self-published books, indie press books or interactive media books at this time.

I don't participate in blog tours at the moment.

I don't do author interviews now.

I appreciate it if you add your cover and a link to Goodreads in your email.

Genres.

I enjoy YA:
  • Fairytales and retellings.
  • Fantasy (every subgenre)
  • Historical fiction (preferred the Tudor era)
  • Mystery.
  • Paranormal.
  • Dystopian.

I also enjoy MG and adult fantasy books.
If you still aren't sure, you can check my Goodreads account to see if your book is on my list.

I'm not a fan of:
  • Non-fiction
  • Memoirs/biographies
  • Poetry
  • Books with a lot of faith in it.
  • Short stories.
  • Chicklit.

Accepting books:

If I accept a book, I guarantee a review if I finish the book. If I can't finish the book, I can't review it and I'm sorry for that. I will make every effort to read and review fast. If you find that it take too long, don't hesitate and email me again. Most books take me 1-7 days, depending on how busy I'm with school.

Reviews:

My reviews will also be posted on Goodreads. I try to make them easy going and appealing. I write fair and honest reviews. My reviews are my opinion and if I don't like a book, I will tell. I don't write nasty commentary, because I appreciate the effort from every writer. I'm not a professional reviewer; I review because books are my passion.

Structure:

  1. Cover art.
  2. Book stats.
  3. Source.
  4. Summary from Goodreads.
  5. Review with my own summary, followed by my opinion.
  6. Rating.

Other information:
I know that I live in the Netherlands, but almost everything I read is written in English. I write a blog that will attract a large public. If requested, I can write the review in Dutch and English.
