I found this “Would you rather?” list on I read & Tell and I really liked reading her answers, so I decided to do it myself! The picture is also from her blog.
1.Would you rather choose a very well written book (I'm talking words of gold here), with a very dull plot, OR, a very interesting plot written in a way that threatens to make your eyes bleed?
Difficult! I appreciate a lovely prose, but I don’t think I could finish the book if there is a dull plot. It’s hard to pay attention to pretty words if they are used for nothing interesting. So I think I’d rather have crappy writing with a good story.
2.Would you rather meet your favorite author while making a complete fool out of yourself, or have your most hated book character be your roommate?
That’s easy. I would meet my favorite author! It’s a one time occasion and I think I can live with the fact that I looked like an idiot, haha. A horrible roommate is far worse.
3. Would you rather be Katniss Everdeen, and get thrown into THG, with no guarantee you'll win, or be Harry Potter, and get thrown into the Triwizard Tournament, with again no guarantee of winning?
I think I take my chance with Harry Potter. I can use magic and that’s much easier to learn than trying to survive in the bush bush with people trying to kill you. And hello. It's Harry Potter. DUH!
4. Would you rather have a pet dragon that accidentally sets things on fire, or a pet parrot that tells people what you really think of them?
Haha. I think I will keep the dragon far away from my stuff and train him, because the parrot is going to get me in trouble.
5. Would you rather be the super villain in a story, and get to survive, or the superhero and die midway?
Oh wow. Tough one! It depends on what kind of villain I am. Some of them have touching stories and I feel sorry for them – that’s not too bad. I really like staying alive and most of them have evil sidekicks, so I won’t be alone. Villain it is.
