Q: What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?

I have a lot of favorite authors, so that's difficult. I think I would like to say something to Juliet Marillier. I love the way she creates her worlds. She is magical with her words. The way she spins a tale and puts all these wonderful characters in it. I always end up with a new friend. Her main heroins are strong, smart and nice, but they also have flaws. There is no instant love and the hero isn't a handsome man with only good qualities. I love that. Nobody is perfect and she really understands that. That's why I can identify myself with all the personalities in the story.

I would want to tell her how much I adore her stories :) I have read The Seven Waters so many times now and I enjoy them everytime. I hope that she will write thousands of books, because they are amazing.

And I would like to tell J.K Rowling how much she changed my reading habits. Before I read Harry Potter, I never tried any fantasy books. I thought I wouldn't like them, until I got the first book for my birthday. From that moment, I was hooked! Harry Potter is still one of my first 'loves' and she made me realize how wonderful fantasy books are.

It's actually all about appreciation and hope for more books.

So, what's your favorite author and what do you want to say?
